Medication at School

All medication brought to school must be given to the First Aid Officer at the Front Office and written authority for administration supplied by parents or carers. An Authority to Administer Medication form is available from the Front Office. For long term medication a Written statement from the child's doctor must also be supplied by the parent/carer to the school. Establishing a routine at home that mirrors the one at school is essential for children on long term medication. If the timing of medication is critical, it would be best for the child to remain at home. The Front Office usually reminds students to take their medication, but there are times when this is not possible so children are encouraged to report to the Front Office staff when it is time to take their medication. Children are not permitted to have medication in their possession at school.

Moblie Phones, Toys and Other Valuables

Mobile phones must be handed in to the Front Office ant the beginning of the school day and collected at the end of the day. Toy and valuables are discourages. Front time to time particular games or toys may be banned.
