At Gowrie we provide learning programs to cater to all learners. We understand some students need access to higher order thinking that challenges them on a daily basis. All class learning programs provide opportunities for higher order thinking through their IBIC units and Literacy and Numeracy Programs.
We also provide other specific programs that challenge those students with specific talents that meet individual needs. These programs include;

- Rostrum Public Speaking Competition
- Talent Quest
- Mathematics streaming (Yrs 3 – 6)
- Maths Olympiad
- Friday Clubs (cooking skills, sewing, guitar, golf, AFL , pottery, craft and ICT)
All these enrichment programs are offered throughout K – 6 with some being specific to certain year groups.
